" The Dumpster Drummers are
exciting and wonderful. They provide a lot of information about
recycling and entertain the students at the same time. We have them at
our Fine Arts day and they are a hit each year with the entire school.
The active participation with the students keep even the kindergarten
through fifth graders engaged and ready to listen."
Sharon Ford
"The Dumpster Drummer’s program was an outstanding interactive assembly for our students. The students enjoyed seeing all of the different pieces that the Dumpster Drummer’s used to make music. The student’s also learned about the different types of ways that music could be made. The steel drum example was especially powerful because the students were able to see and hear its sound.
The recycling program that was given along with the musical performance drew on student’s personal experience with recycling. Kira 'The Recycling Genius' put on a great performance and the students were engaged for her entire presentation."

"The Dumpster Drummers workshops were fun, interactive, and educational. The students were able to experience first-hand examples of sound made from ordinary things we find around us. They left the session with fresh ideas of how to create rhythms with items we already have."
